Shakeology vs. Starbucks

Yoga X

Sorry, I don't have pictures tonight, but I wanted to invite you to start your journey toward a new you. Yoga is sometimes referred to as the "Fountain of Youth". Keep checking back for more updates!

I would also like to ask you to join the beachbody team as a coach. Please click on the right side of my weblog and find out how you can profit from your weightloss. This is no gimmick, just straight up sharing your story and inviting others to join the trend to end obesity.

Thank you and I will always be here to help you achieve your fitness goal! I, too, am going through the journey and I understand the frustration, the hardwork, and the joy of seeing change and feeling healthy.

Your friend always,
Kenneth

Kon' Kang (you wanna eat) Kang Kong? by sister Glenda Welles, Beachbody coach

Kang kong (Ipomoea aquatica or reptans)

Kang kong (Ipomoea aquatica or reptans) has two main varieties, one with larger leaves and stems and one with narrower leaves and stems…the latter sometimes referred to in local markets as “Chinese Kang kong.” Also known as “water spinach” – why, one wonders as it is not related to “spinach” but rather more closely related to sweet potatoes… A native to tropical India, it has spread to Southeast Asia where it thrives and has become a cheap and nutritious part of the diet.
I ate kang kong frequently in at my Nohno Batsipa’s house (where it is an essential ingredient in her FAMOUS soups) My Nohno Batsipa was an advocate of GREEN veggies and I was made to eat them.
In my house I use I sauté it with a bit of extra virgin olive oil or pure coconut oil. To make this simple side dish, I prep the leaves, heat up a large pan, add olive oil and minced garlic, the kang kong, and salt and pepper to taste. When I take it off the burner, I also drizzle a small amount of sesame seed oil. Delicioso!
I also enjoy eating kang kong at a local Chinese restaurant here.

Planning for the Week

I've thought about it and I have decided to take my workout to the next level! I plan to do a thirty minute high intensity workout in the morning. Either Cardio X or P90 Express. I am doing pretty good with my workout but I would like to see more fat burning this week. P90X has allowed me to put on a lot of muscles, now I need to increase the cardio to start seeing more of my fat melt away to get a more ripped on my muscles.
I will have to play a balancing act on my carbohydrate intake so I can maintain enough energy for the intense P90X workout in the evening.
I have limited space, but you are more than welcome to join me. I am also available for fitness advice.

UPPER MIDDLE LOWER WORKOUT

I wanted to make sure I show you a little bit of what I do for my workout. It is not glamorous by no means. As you can see this is as Horton puts it, real DNA removal.

This is actually the Upper Middle Lower (UML) workout. It is just as brutal as some of the P90X workout. I was short on time tonight but I wanted to make sure that I put in some type of workout for today's schedule. As you can see, there's no excuse! Your life worth more than the things that keep getting in your way. You owe it to yourself and you owe it to your mom, dad, siblings, friends, wife, and most importantly, your kids. They need you around! Look at it this way, it won't matter if you meet your schedules if your dead! So, do yourself a favor and BRING IT!

P90X Shoulder and arms, ab ripper X

Raise your hands if you are for P90X!

The workout never gets easy, but I brought it! While I have a long way to go, these pictures gave me motivation to move on forward. Coming from where I started, I would say that I am making progress. I had stopped for awhile during the holidays and probably set me back about two months worth of workout, I am still satisfied that I am finally on my way toward my goal.
As I pointed out in my transformation story, I started at 265 lbs and now I am down to 225. I intend to reach my goal of 178 lbs or a six pack. Whichever comes first. Thank you for taking an interest to my story. I hope I have been an inspiration to you. Please check back again for more update and don't hesitate to sign up and be a follower to my blog. Till then! :-)
Face of Intensity!

Yeah, I brought it!

and more!

That's right!

Chris Carter imitation!

Don't talk to me, I am in PAIN!

Ab ripper X! I love it and I hate it!
